What we simplified
We developed the brand identity and packaging design around two Japanese cultural references the Bento Box and the Furoshiki wrapping technique. Both carry the same quiet message: food prepared with care, presented with intention. That warmth became the visual language of the brand. The result was a clean, fresh system that stood apart from competitors, communicated home-cooked quality without over-explaining it, and was built from the start to flex across new products and flavors without losing consistency.





The Outcome
The visual system launched and held. Oishi Eato has grown steadily across both domestic and international markets and is still selling under the same identity today. In packaging design, that kind of longevity is the real result. A system that doesn't need to be replaced because it was built right the first time.
